Projector deals

This page lists every projector we track in the United States with today's price beside it. The order is best value first, which is not the same as cheapest. A projector earns its place by what it can confirm about itself: brightness has to come from a published ANSI or ISO figure before it counts, and resolution has to be what the imaging chip addresses rather than what the input socket accepts. If you already know roughly what size screen you want and how far back the projector will sit, answer those two questions in the room finder first and come back here with the list narrowed to what actually fits.

Tell us your screen size, how far back the projector sits and how much light the room gets, and every row here shows whether it fits. Open the room finder

Why is the cheapest projector not at the top?

Because price on its own tells you nothing about whether a projector will work in your room. The default order weighs what we can confirm about picture quality against what it costs, so a projector with a published brightness figure and a real throw ratio outranks one that quotes a number nobody can verify. You can still sort by price at any time using the control above the list.

How current are these prices?

Every price carries the time we last read it from Amazon, shown directly underneath. We check several times a day. If a price is more than a day old we stop showing the number and send you to Amazon to see the current one, because a stale figure is worse than no figure.

What does brightness not confirmed mean?

It means the maker has not published a brightness figure in a unit that can be compared. Some projectors are advertised in LED lumens or lux, which are much larger numbers measuring something different. We will not rank those against a projector measured in ANSI lumens, so the row says so plainly instead of guessing.

Do you only list projectors sold on Amazon?

We list projectors whose specifications we have checked, whether or not Amazon stocks them. Where there is an Amazon listing you get the current price and a link. Where there is not, the projector still has a page with its specs and the room fit maths, and we say plainly that it is not available.
